Commercial Break Workout.
Your standard TV show is 30 minutes long with ten minutes of commercials.
This workout won't take the place of your exercise program, but why not utilize some of the time you spend watching television?
Get off of the couch and MOVE! Every little bit helps!
Here's what to do:
For the first set of commercial breaks, concentrate on your lower body. Do stationary lunges. If you need an assist, hold on to the end of a chair or couch.
For the second set of commercials, try your favorite ab exercise -- crunches, reverse crunches, leg lifts, v-ups, etc..
For the third set of commercials, do dips off of the end of the chair or couch.
Repeat, but switch your lower body exercise to Sumo squats, use a different ab exercise, and do push ups instead of dips.
Do it all night long or just for your favorite program. The idea is to add a little extra movement to your day.
Complete 15 or 20 reps per set.
